Casa Bonita

Our first dinner out in Denver was at Casa Bonita. The boys really enjoyed it, we were there for two hours at least. They were getting tired tho so it was time to call it a day. When we left we went by the fountain and remembering our pic there on the way to the family reunion in 2009 before Braxton was home, we had to take pics. Of course we did get in trouble with security, they had just fixed the fountain I guess. We saw pics from a friend that went there a couple nights later and they had the fountain turned on.

Ha, I remember Casa Bonita - when it was a new place. There were lines of people waiting to get in... all the way out to the street. It is one place we felt we wanted to wait for... really enjoyed it. I was in my early teens then.

There was another place then that we also went to... called "The Organ Grinder" it was a pizza place with a huge Pipe organ all across the front of it. There was a lady making the music for Charlie Chaplin Silent movies. sorry that one is no longer there.

I am thinking it may have been we were to those two places and to see your Grandma Shirley in the hospital in Denver about the same time.

It has been a long time since I have come to see your blog. Nice to catch up a bit.
