Check out these SMILES

We had such an AWESOME visit today with Braxton. We got to take him outside obviously by the pics and he really came alive, his little eyes were taking it all in. It was his first time outside, just like Brayden's first time was with us. There was a light breeze but the sun was warm. He really looked everything over and loved swinging. We really enjoyed our 20 min. then we went up to the play room and had the rest of our hour or so there. I know we were supposed to have him till 4:40, but we were already on the road by then, so the caregivers come and take them sooner than they are supposed to. Thats just the control of things there. But we are glad for the time we do get.
Ok, forgot to answer the family birthday...the lucky winner is PAPA, Braxton's birthday is June 24, 2008.
We do get one more visit tomorrow morning, hope we can go back outside again as that really is stimulating for him. It will be the last one till we come back for court. It does sound like court won't be until October or maybe even later than that. The judge only takes one case a week so thats really making the waiting line long to get in. Ludmilla said she will push where she can, but really doesn't look very good from where we are standing at the moment. The good thing is that he will soon forget us and it won't bother him at all. By these smiles, its obvious he is happy so its not like we are leaving a completely unhappy little boy. That will make it bearable for us for the time to be that long. And really by then he will still be younger than Brayden was when we met him, at least we hope it doesn't take longer than that!!
Will go back to our room and work over the videos, they are much tooo long to post on here as they are, so will do some work on them and maybe get a couple put on here before we go to bed tonight. Have to go get a few things at the grocery store for supper.
luv and hugs all around.

Wow! Those are GREAT smiles! What a neat experience that you were the first ones to take both your boys outside...

My congrats to Papa for sharing his birthday with his 2nd grandson! I guessed wrong...I wonder why :)

The lengthy posts are so interesting. There is no time like the present to put all your thoughts down, while they are so fresh. The sailing beer bottle would have you pretty edgy.

Drats about waiting for October to get him... Time goes fast, but that seems like quite awhile. Maybe Brayden will have a brother to help him celebrate his 5th birthday!

Roger, you should have taken your irrigating boots with to keep your feet dry. I'm sure Dawn would've made room in the luggage if you would have thought of it!

Everything is going well here and I'm sure home will be a wonderful place to land... Much love, and thanks for posting.

Grandma Donnabelle came out this morning and looked at the video and pictures. He's so alert and smiley! I'd think the sun would help the little guy's rash, too. Thanks for the details of your days. Love, Wayne and Wanda

OCTOBER?!?!?!? UGH! It broke my heart to read about his first time being outside was at 13 months old!! (I don't remember Brayden's first time being outside with you guys, either.) I don't know if *I* can stand the thought of him having to wait that long. My heart aches for you guys, too. At least maybe Brayden will keep you busy and help the time to go by quickly!! :)
