Tuesday rush

Today began early but not quite early enough. Tough to get one boy bathed, two boys dressed and fed and out by 9 a.m. for a day of document chasing. Amazing how it all goes together tho, mama had to wait and eat breakfast in the van, but everything else was done. Good thing we have a daddy or it just wouldn't work at all!! I woke up way early, actually didn't sleep much. Braxton slept really good, he had a couple restless moments and I ended up with him in our bed twice to get him to go back deeper asleep. Then could put him back in his bed on the floor. There are no cribs in this hotel, so we made one. Anyway, as far as he was concerned it was a pretty good night. We had to get up, feed them and head for the bath to wash off the medicine we put on their skin last night before bed. Trying to clear their skin up and its going to take some work. Anyway, the bath thing is not very popular, he doesn't like it and neither does Yuri. We get thru it and move on tho. We got dressed and made it downstairs in time. Off to pick up the court documents and then to the adoption certificate office to double check the document and sign for it, then the birth certificate office for Jill and back to the hotel to drop her and Brayden off. We took Braxton with us and headed for the town his birth certificate is registered in about 80 km away. He went to sleep after the first 20 min and slept the rest of the way there, we fed him lunch while we waited for his birth cert to be finished and then signed for it and headed back. We got back to the hotel about 1:45 and got out, Roger ate a quick lunch, Jill brought me Yuri and the two of them left to go get the passports started. They came back with groceries and we finished our day here. Braxton really has had a good day, he came alive this afternoon with plenty of smiles and silliness. Here he is playing with the mini tonka trucks and the loader just fits perfectly in his mouth don't ya think...everything goes to the mouth without any hesitation. Roger and Brayden went out for a walk as he was having trouble containing all his rough housing desires around the little ones. They did a bit of shopping and made it back for supper. We fed the boys first and then we had our supper and a celebratory chunk of cake. Now all three are asleep and all the parents aren't too far behind. Both Yuri and Braxton are responding really well to their surroundings and to us too. Its amazing to me the changes already. Altho Braxton isn't eating as well as I remember Brayden eating, so that is different. He might have a different palate and just have preferrences and not be as starving as Brayden was. All things are relative I guess and every child is different. Tomorrow we leave at 4:15 for the passport office and then to the train station for our nights adventure on the rails. We have 2 carriages each with 4 beds in it and we are the only occupants. Well us and all our luggage. :-) Will see how that treats us. Then in Moscow we will have some documents to take care of right away with the US Embassy and the medical center before we can check in here and let everyone know we made it. So please expect a lull in action possibly through tomorrow as I do have to rearrange all this luggage and compact it as much as possible. We will get back on as soon as we are able with the wifi in the apt.
